Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam has had important portfolios to his credit. He has served as Federal Secreatry for Narcotics Control. In his 33 years of service, he was IGP Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh as well as IGP of National Motorways and Highways Police, twice. He is a law & governance consultant with a PHD in Politics & International Relation and an LLM from SOAS & Masters in Philosophy. At international level, he has served in three UN Missions – as Chief of operations in Mozambique; Planning Coordinator in Liberia and Police Commissioner in Darfur, Sudan. He has been conferred three UN Peace Medals, two gallantry awards besides the "Tamgah-i-Imtiaz" for his distinct National Service.

Lt General (R) Naeem Khalid Lodhi is a graduate of Command and Staff College, Quetta and National Defence University, Islamabad. He has served on various command, staff and instructional assignments in his career in the armed forces. Of the important portfolios that he held, important appointments like the Directing Staff at National Defence College Islamabad, Commander Corps Engineers, Director General Engineering Directorate, Director General Staff Duties Directorate, General Officer Commanding Bahawalpur, General Headquarters Rawalpindi and Corps Commander Bahawalpur deserve a special mention. Due to his distinguished career in military, he has been conferred the award of Hilal-e-Imtiaz. Naeem Lodhi has also served as the Defence Secretary.

Her research covers Conflict Management, Human Security, CBMs, and Conventional Disarmament. She previously worked at the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad. Dr. Malik is a prolific author and co-author of books, including “Small Arms and the Security Debate in South Asia,” and has edited “Pakistan’s Security Problems and Challenges in the Next Decade.

Dr. Aneel Salman is Chair Economic Security at Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI) Islamabad. He is a dynamic academician, trainer and researcher who has a multidisciplinary background in Economics, Blue Economy, Ecofeminism, Institutional Governance and Climate Change. Internationally, he has been affiliated with the Rensselaer University-USA, Harvard University-USA, Cambridge University-UK and the University of Bern-Switzerland, amongst several others. In Pakistan, he is alumni of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), and the Punjab University-Lahore. He also serves as Board of Director for Maritime Study Forum, Islamabad.
